"Canopy Beat / Soundtrack of the Rainforest" is a 30 min composition based on sound recordings made in the Brazilian Amazon forest. It was a great challenge to compose a dense and layered piece reflecting my sound memories and experiences of this trip. The rich amount of sounds and layers in this unique environment forced me to change my view and process of composing with field recordings.

Canopy Beat_Soundtrack of the Rainforest  is broadcasted over several European radio networks and is displayed at Bozar in 2012 in the framework of Europalia Brasil.
