During the Tuned City edition in Tallinn i had one day of time to look for some sounds specific to the area. This capital of Estonia is located near the sea which is separated from the old city centre by urban wasteland. Most of the recordings took place in these wastelands along the seaside.

For two weeks long together with a group of 5 other sound artists, we scanned the Amazonian Rainforest with our ears and microphones, guided by Francisco Lopez, Slavek Kwi and the local community of Lake Mamori. These recordings resulted in a first sound composition presented at Lake Mamori and later on an installation will be created in which the sound of the rainforest will be researched in a vertical perspective.

In september 2008 a first trip was made to the glaciers in Switzerland. Highly impressed by their incredible shape and beauty a second trip had to be undertaken one year later, but this time to make a walk on their icy skin.
